NASA’s OSIRIS-REx mission has successfully returned a sample from the asteroid Bennu, containing organic molecules and minerals that could hold clues to the origins of life on Earth. Analysis of the sample revealed the presence of amino acids, the building blocks of proteins, and other complex organic compounds.
