Renowned golfer Tiger Woods has recently announced that the Genesis Invitational, initially scheduled for next month, will now be relocated to another destination. Woods, who is also the event’s host, shared that the primary reason behind this challenging decision was the extensive wildfires raging near the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, where the tournament was originally planned. These wildfires have raised concerns over air quality and health risks, prompting Woods and the event organizers to shift the event to another site. “We’re very concerned about the health and safety of our players, fans, volunteers, staff, and the surrounding community,” said Woods. Despite the disruption, the Genesis Invitational remains committed to its mission of creating valuable experiences and memories for all attendees.
