Bronny James Shines in G League Debut with Career-High 30 Points

Bronny James, the son of NBA legend LeBron James, made a stunning debut in the G League, scoring a career-high 30 points in a road game against the Agua Caliente Clippers. The 19-year-old guard, who recently joined the South Bay Lakers, showed off his skills, leading his team to a narrow 115-112 win.

James, who went undrafted in the 2022 NBA draft, has been working hard to prove himself in the G League. His debut performance was a testament to his hard work and dedication. He played 34 minutes, shooting 11-of-22 from the field, including 5-of-10 from three-point range. He also added 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals to his stat line.

The game was closely contested, with both teams trading baskets throughout the fourth quarter. James scored 10 points in the final quarter, including a clutch three-pointer with 2:30 remaining to give the Lakers a 109-106 lead. The Clippers tied the game with 1:15 left, but James responded with a driving layup to put the Lakers ahead for good.

James’ performance was praised by his coaches and teammates, who were impressed by his poise and confidence on the court. “Bronny was amazing tonight,” said Lakers coach, Coby Karl. “He played with a lot of heart and showed why he’s a special talent.”

The South Bay Lakers are currently 3-2 on the season, and James’ debut performance has given them a much-needed boost. The team will look to build on this momentum as they face the Stockton Kings on Friday.
