NYPD Releases Surveillance Images in Search for Suspect in Manhattan Shooting

The New York Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting that took place in Manhattan earlier this week. On Tuesday afternoon, at approximately 2:45pm, police responded to a report of a shooting in the vicinity of 5th Avenue and 23rd Street.

Upon arrival, officers found a 35-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

According to eyewitnesses, the shooting occurred outside a nearby UnitedHealthcare office. The suspect, who has not been identified, was seen fleeing the scene on foot.

The NYPD has released surveillance images of the suspect, which show a male wearing a black hoodie and jeans. The images were captured by a nearby security camera and show the suspect walking away from the scene of the shooting.
