Reality TV Star James Kennedy Detained Following Alleged Domestic Dispute

James Kennedy, a main cast member of the reality TV show Vanderpump Rules, was taken into custody by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) on Tuesday evening following an alleged domestic violence incident. According to sources close to the investigation, the incident occurred at Kennedy’s residence in the Los Angeles area, where he lives with his girlfriend.

The LAPD received a call at approximately 9:45 PM regarding a domestic dispute at Kennedy’s residence. Upon arrival, officers met with Kennedy’s girlfriend, who alleged that Kennedy had become violent during an argument. The girlfriend reportedly suffered minor injuries, but did not require medical attention.

Kennedy, 29, was subsequently arrested and detained by the LAPD on suspicion of domestic violence. He was booked into the Los Angeles County Jail and held on $50,000 bail.

Vanderpump Rules, a reality TV show that airs on Bravo, follows the lives of several servers and bartenders working at Lisa Vanderpump’s West Hollywood restaurant, SUR. Kennedy has been a main cast member on the show since its inception in 2013 and has been known for his tumultuous relationships and struggles with addiction.

The incident has sparked concern among fans and fellow cast members, who have taken to social media to express their support for Kennedy’s girlfriend. “I’m so sorry to hear about what happened,” wrote cast member Scheana Shay on Twitter. “Sending all my love and support to [Kennedy’s girlfriend].”
