College Football Playoff Expands to 12 Teams: Oregon, Georgia, and Boise State Lead the Pack

The College Football Playoff (CFP) has undergone a significant change, expanding from a four-team format to a 12-team format. Arizona State is projected as the number four seed, with a 9-2 record and a Pac-12 championship game appearance. The Sun Devils have been led by quarterback Jayden Daniels, who has thrown for over 2,500 yards this season.

* 7th seed: Oklahoma (9-2, Big 12 champion)

* 9th seed: Baylor (8-3, Big 12 runner-up)
* 10th seed: Ole Miss (8-3, SEC runner-up)
* 11th seed: Utah (8-3, Pac-12 runner-up)
* 12th seed: Coastal Carolina (10-1, Sun Belt champion)

The first round of games is expected to be played on December 17th, with the semifinals being played on January 1st and the championship game being played on January 10th.
